Jeremy Renner Back Home Recovering After Snow Plowing Accident

Actor Jeremy Renner is back home after his snow plowing accident.

On Jan. 16, Renner gave an update to his fans on Twitter about his recovery progress.

“Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home,” he said of the second season of his television series “Mayor Of Kingstown,” which returned Jan. 15.

After his update, Renner received tons of support from his fans.

“Wow, it‘s so great to hear that you‘re home now. I‘m really happy to hear that. But take your time, step by step and I hope for a speedy recovery,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Episode one was amazing! Loved that ur home and recovering. Much love, “another twitter user wrote.

Renner was in “critical but stable condition” after reportedly sustaining injuries from a snow plowing accident in Reno, Nevada, on New Year’s Day. He was then airlifted to the a local hospital where he was surrounded by family and received “excellent care,” according to his representative, Sam Mast.

In a statement to NBC News, Mast confirmed Renner had suffered “blunt chest trauma” and underwent surgery, according to Today.

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, Jan. 2, 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition,” Mast said.

After his surgery, Renner thanked his supporters on his Instagram page for their “kind words.”

“Thank you all for your kind words. Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all,” he wrote.

On Jan. 5, Renner posted a video to his Twitter of him lying in the hospital with his mom and sister by his side.

“A ‘not no great’ ICU DAY, turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama. Thank you sooooo much,” he wrote in the caption.
