Kelly Osbourne issued a statement after her mother, Sharon Osbourne, revealed she had given birth and the name of her newborn son.

On Wednesday, Kelly Osbourne took to her Instagram story to defend her privacy.

“I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one’s place but mine to share any information on my baby,” she wrote.

On Jan. 3, Sharon Osbourne appeared on an episode of the British channel TalkTV’s show “The Talk” and confirmed the birth of her fifth grandchild, a boy. She also revealed his name is “Sidney.”

She also spoke about how her daughter is doing after giving birth.

“Oh, just so great, so great. She won’t let a picture go out of him and i’m so proud of her,” she said.

In 2022, Kelly Osbourne announced on her Instagram she was pregnant with her first child with her musician boyfriend Sid Wilson.

“I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why … I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!” She wrote.

In an interview with “Access Hollywood” in 2020, Kelly Osbourne said she “definitely” wanted children one day now she was sober from alcohol.

In 2021, she appeared on “Red Table Talk” with host Jada Pinkett Smith and spoke about feeling behind due to not being married or having children at the time.

“Yes, I feel very behind. As a woman, I would have loved to be married and have children by now. My brother [Jack] has three daughters and I would have loved to have kids by now, but that wasn’t what was in the cards for me yet,” she revealed, per People.

She also spoke about the kind of mother she would have been before her sobriety.

“I would have been no kind of mother at all,” she said. “Because I was that crazy addict that was like, ‘Oh yeah, I’ll stop doing drugs when I get pregnant because I have to.’ Like, that’s insane that I would ever even think that.”

In May 2022, she celebrated one year of sobriety on her Instagram page.

“What a difference a year can make! If you would have told me 365 days ago that I would be sober, happy, and about to be a mumma I would have laughed in your face. Life is truly amazing when you do the work. Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. I love you all so much!!!!!!!” She wrote in the caption.
