Allegations of voter fraud are apparently now extending beyond just Democratic victories.

Now, Mike Lindell, the founder of MyPillow, is suggesting there was something fishy behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) massive reelection victory in November.

During a segment of his show “The Lindell Report,” he said, “I am going after Dade County in the 2022 election. And everyone says, ‘Now why would you go after Dade County?'”

“You know what happened in Dade County in the 2022 election?” he asked. “This is where DeSantis won…For me, I look at deviations, everybody. That’s a deviation. I don’t believe it.”

Lindell went on, “Just like we always tell you about Democrats when they stole their elections…I want to find out in Dade County what happened there because it’s a deviation from [the] norm. It’s very much a deviation.”

While Trump-backed candidates in several high-profile races lost, handing the Republicans a disappointing election night, DeSantis cruised to reelection in Florida.

He won with nearly a 20-point margin and became the first Republican gubernatorial candidate to win Miami-Dade County since 2002.

Lindell has been a supporter of former President Donald Trump and a champion of his claims the 2020 presidential election was stolen through widespread fraud — despite a lack of evidence to support those allegations.

As Trump reportedly becomes more and more annoyed with DeSantis, a possible 2024 competitor, it makes sense Lindell would try to raise doubts about the governor’s massive win to undermine him.

While the former president looked like a drag who forced bad candidates on the party, DeSantis came out looking like someone who could lead Republicans to victory.

And so far, all Trump has been able to throw at him is the assertion he was behind the governor’s 2018 victory.

But trying to undermine or call into question one of the few bright spots in a bad election for Republicans is a weird way to help Trump.

And it just comes off as clownish and a distraction Republicans do not need.

Voters in November overwhelmingly said “enough” with the unfounded claims of fraud. They are tired of hearing about 2020 instead of a coherent argument for why Republicans should be in power.

If Trump’s supporters want to help him, they would knock it off with the voter fraud claims and encourage him to focus on the future and develop a coherent argument for his 2024 presidential bid.
