A criminal referral plan for former President Donald Trump has been finalized by the Jan. 6 committee, according to a report.

On Sunday, NBC News reported the committee met to “finalize its plans to issue at least three criminal referrals” for Trump.

The outlet noted the committee will meet publicly on Monday and is expected to vote on referrals urging the Department of Justice to “pursue at least three criminal charges against Trump related to the Capitol riot: obstructing an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the government and inciting or assisting an insurrection,” NBC News explained.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) reportedly said the referrals were “warranted.”

Trump took to his Truth Social platform and appeared to respond to the report.

“The highly partisan Unselect Committee is illegally leaking confidential info to anyone that will listen. Adam ‘Shifty’ Schiff is all over T.V. talking about Criminal Referrals, just like he was on the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, which turned out to be the con of the century,” Trump wrote.

He added, “How much longer are Republicans, and American Patriots in general, going to allow this to happen. These are the Criminals who spied on my campaign, cheated on the Election, lied to FISA Court and Congress. They are SICK!”

Additionally, sources confirmed to NBC News the discussions were a review of decisions previously made by the committee it would present Monday.

The sources told the outlet the meeting acted as a “rehearsal of sorts.”

The committee also held discussions about a lawyer for Trump, John Eastman, who wrote a memo explaining the theory of how the former president “could hold on to power on Jan. 6,” as NBC News reported.

The outlet learned the committee is planning to refer a number of Republican Congress members to the House Ethics Committee for allegedly defying subpoenas.

“None of the subpoenaed members complied,” Raskin said during the meetings on Sunday.

He continued, “And we are now referring four members of Congress for appropriate sanction with the House Ethics Committee for failure to comply.”
