On Monday night, NBC projected Hobbs had defeated the conservative star.

Lake was one of the most prominent supporters of former President Donald Trump’s unfounded claims about widespread fraud in the 2020 election.

RealClearPolitics’ average of polls showed Lake leading Hobbs by 4.5 points before the election.

However, as of Monday evening, she was trailing Hobbs by roughly 20,000 votes with 97% of the expected vote in.

Lake had previously declined to share whether she would accept the results of the election if she lost.
