President Joe Biden appeared to ask where Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.), who died in August, was during a speech at the White House.

During the White House Conference On Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, Biden asked, “Representative Jackie are you here? Where’s Jackie?”

He added, “She must not be here.”

Walorski died in a car accident in Indiana after another vehicle collided head-on with an SUV she was riding in.

Two others also died in the same vehicle as well as the woman driving the other car.

The president issued a statement following the announcement of Walorski’s death.

“We may have represented different parties and disagreed on many issues, but she was respected by members of both parties for her work on the House Ways and Means Committee on which she served,” Biden said.

He added, “She also served as co-chair of the House Hunger Caucus, and my team and I appreciated her partnership as we plan for a historic White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health this fall that will be marked by her deep care for the needs of rural America.”

Concluding his statement, Biden said, “We send our deepest condolences to her husband, Dean, to the families of her staff members, Zachery Potts and Emma Thomson, who lost their lives in public service, and to the people of Indiana’s Second District who lost a representative who was one of their own.”

Twitter users were quick to point out Biden’s apparent error.

“Someone please take away his microphone and get him help,” one user tweeted.

Last week, it was reported that police believe the driver of the vehicle with Walorski in it is at fault for the crash.
