Actress Lupita Nyong’o is paying tribute to her late co-star Chadwick Boseman two years after his death.

On Sunday, Nyong’o posted a video on her Instagram of Boseman where they are joking together as he is signing autographs for fans.

She captioned the video, “Kept it real. Kept it kind.”

Actor Winston Duke, who also starred alongside Boseman and Nyong’o in the film “Black Panther,” commented on the video writing, “Incredibly generous man…always sharing abad helping and giving and loving… ugh… my heart … Ure missed beyond any words my brother… love love! Thanks, Lupita for posting our treasure… man oh man!!”

Boseman died on August 28, 2020, after a private battle with colon cancer. He was 43 years old.

In an Instagram post announcing his passing, it reads, “It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. ⁣Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.”

The post continued: “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will hit theaters on November 11, 2022.

An overview of the new film says that they will “fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death,” per Marvel.

In July, Nyong’o spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about making the sequel without Boseman.

“For us as a cast, having lost our king, Chadwick Boseman, that was a lot to process, and in many ways, we’re still processing it. When you lose someone, I don’t know when you stop missing them. And of course, we felt it so much, making this film without him,” she said.
