Time magazine published a positive review of controversial co-host of “The View” Joy Behar.

On Wednesday, the magazine tweeted a link to the piece with the caption, “‘I just say what I say. And then they’re upset with me,’ [Joy V Behar] says. ‘I’m their favorite target over at Breitbart and Fox.'”

It continued, “After 25 years co-hosting The View, Behar has plenty more to say—and she doesn’t care if you like it.”

The piece is titled, “Joy Behar Won’t Shut Up.”

In the piece, Time explained that to some conservatives, “That Behar has not been canceled yet is evidence of hypocrisy. But it may actually be evidence of something else: that Behar plays a useful role in the current media ecosystem.”

It goes on, “Her age, willingness to offend, and impenetrable hide make her a sturdy dartboard in the rowdy dive bar political discourse has become. Conservatives throw sharp objects her way to whip up outrage (and traffic) among their audience, and progressives, including Behar, decline to award any points.”

Behar told the magazine there is power that comes with the microphone.

“People don’t like it. They don’t like it that I’m a powerful person on The View, saying things that they don’t like, but I’m sorry, that is where I’m at,” Behar said.

She added, “I’m a powerful person on The View; I was a powerful person as a comedian holding a microphone. Too bad.”

Behar caused more controversy this week after making comments about Turning Point USA.

During a conversation about the TPUSA Student Action Summit, Behar said, “Neo-Nazis were out there in the front of the conference with anti-Semitic slurs and, you know, the Nazi swastika and a picture of a so-called Jewish person with exaggerated features, just like Goebbels did during the Third Reich.”

She suggested it is “the same thing, right out of that same playbook.”

The organization then sent a cease-and-desist letter to ABC News, urging the company to retract the statements.

“The false statements of fact intentionally made during The View’s July 25th segment were unquestionably harmful to TPUSA’s reputation and brought the organization and its student affiliates into disrepute with the public, potential donors, and current and future business partners, posing a significant financial loss to the organization,” the organization wrote in the letter.

During Wednesday’s show, co-host Sara Haines issued an apology on behalf of the show.

“We want to make clear that these demonstrators were outside the event and that they were not invited or endorsed by Turning Point USA,” she said.
