Billionaire Elon Musk hinted at creating a moderate super PAC.

On Wednesday, Musk responded to a Tweet from The Texan reporting that Mayra Flores “has won the special election for Texas’s 34th Congressional District, flipping a seat that has been under nearly unbroken Democratic control for four decades.”

Musk replied, “I voted for Mayra Flores – first time I ever voted Republican. Massive red wave in 2022.”

The Twitter account Tesla Owners Silicon Valley asked Musk, “I assume republican for president 2?”

The billionaire replied, “Tbd.”

Another Twitter user asked Musk, “But your political donations will be evenly spread out, as you do always. Right??”

He explained, “I’m thinking of creating a ‘Super Moderate Super PAC’ that supports candidates with centrist views from all parties.”

Last month, Musk shared he would vote Republican.

“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party. But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold…” Musk tweeted.

Earlier this week, DeSantis was asked if he would run in 2024 if former President Donald Trump ran.

He said, “Nice try,” as Politico reported.

The former president is reportedly considering announcing his 2024 White House bid in Florida to show the governor “who the boss is.”

A GOP strategist told Insider, “He calls DeSantis ‘a stiff’ and ‘ungrateful.’ Adjectives.”

Earlier this month, DeSantis beat Trump and other possible contenders in a straw poll for 2024 presidential candidates at a Colorado conservative conference, as Fox News reported.

According to the poll, attendees approved of a potential DeSantis candidacy for the Republican nomination at 71%.

Trump came in at 67%.
