Former President Donald Trump appears to have dropped a big hint about his plans for the 2024 election.

A video posted on Instagram shows Trump golfing, and a man can be heard saying, “First on tee, 45th President of the United States.”

“Forty-fifth and 47th,” Trump said.

The man responded, “Yes, I love that.”

Trump has not officially said whether he plans on running for president again. However, he told Fox News in September, “I don’t think we’re going to have a choice. It is disgraceful.”

During a May interview with The Daily Wire, Trump was asked if he planned to run again.

“The answer is I’m absolutely enthused. I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time,” he responded. “As you know, it’s very early, but I think people are going to be very, very happy … when I make a certain announcement.”

Trump added, “So we are looking at that very, very seriously. And uh, all I’ll say is stay tuned!”

A POLITICO/Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday found Trump statistically tied with President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 matchup, with 45% of respondents saying they would vote for Biden and 44% saying they would vote for Trump.

The poll found that former Vice President Mike Pence polling the second-best, still statistically tied, with 42% of respondents saying they would vote for him and 44% saying they would vote for Biden.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) polled the third best with 39% saying they would support him and 44% saying they would vote for Biden.

And finally, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) polled the worst of the four, with 39% saying they would vote for him and 45% choosing Biden.
