Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is threatening to “dish dirt” on former President Donald Trump over his support of the COVID-19 vaccines.

On Wednesday, Jones said, “Ya, we all wish Trump would do the right thing. But listen, I got the inside baseball on Trump. He doesn’t know what’s going on. And I’m not even defending Trump, I’m just saying we need to move on.”

“Maybe, you know what, to get Trump’s attention…Maybe I should just dish all the dirt. You know what, you know what, I’m going to dish it all on Trump next hour. And it’s not to hurt Trump, it’s so people can know how pathetic he is when you think he is playing 4D chess, going to save you, and he’s not!” he continued.

Finally, Jones said, “He’s not a bad guy. But he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s surrounded by bad advisers.”

Jones’ comments come after Trump voiced support for the coronavirus vaccines.

During an event with former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly earlier this month, Trump said, “Take credit for it. It’s great, what we’ve done is historic. Don’t let them take it away…you’re playing right into their hands when you’re sort of like, ‘oh, the vaccine.’ If you don’t want to take it, you shouldn’t be forced to take — no mandates. But take credit because we saved tens of millions of lives. Take credit. Don’t let them take that away from you.”

And during an interview with The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens, he pushed back when she raised concerns about the effectiveness of the vaccines.

“Well, no, the vaccines work, but people aren’t taking it. The ones who get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones who don’t take the vaccine. But it’s still their choice, and if you take the vaccine, you’re protected,” he said, adding, “The results of the vaccine are very good. And if you do get it, it’s a very minor form. People aren’t dying when they take the vaccine.”

Owens later appeared to attribute Trump’s support of the vaccines to his age as she said, “People oftentimes forget, like, how old Trump is.”

“Everything that [Trump’s generation] read in a newspaper, that was pitched to them, that they believed that that was a reality,” she continued. “And one of those things was, you know, this push for vaccines and believing that people were going to die without vaccines. And so, I believe that his support of the vaccine is genuine, and it’s not based on any corruption at all.”

Finally, she added, “Believe it or not, I do not believe that Trump reads or partakes in any other news sources. I don’t believe that Trump is on the internet or that he necessarily uses the web to try to find obscure websites. I think that he just relies on typical mainstream sources. So, I don’t think that there’s anything evil going on there.”
