Dogs were dressed up for the annual Bipawtisan Halloween Dog Parade, and “Nancy Pawlosi” was in attendance.

The third-annual party, started by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), was held on Wednesday. The senator dressed his dog Theo as Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), and another one of his dogs as Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).

Sinema went viral earlier this year after she wore a “Dangerous Creature” sweater on the Senate floor.

There were other political costumes at the “bipawtisan” dog party. One dog wore a sign reading, “I want you to tax the rich.”

Another wore an outfit that read, “Tax the Cats” — an outfit that looked like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (D-N.Y.) “Tax the Rich” gown at the Met Gala in September. One dog’s costume read, “Bark Back Better.”

“Nancy Pawlosi” was also at the dog parade. As Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-Calif.) wrote, “Make no bones about it, Nancy Pawlosi is working hard to Build Bark Better and help all Americans unleash their potential.”

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) dressed his dog as Pierre Doglecto. In 2019, Romney admitted to running a secret Twitter account under the alias Pierre Delecto.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) said, “I seriously wish everybody had a dog; I think the place would work better. It’s one of the few unifying opportunities in this institution that needs more of it,” according to Roll Call.
