Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) was ousted by her fellow Republicans from leadership.

The voice vote occurred on Wednesday, and there will not be an official tally of who voted to purge her and who chose to keep her in the leadership post, according to The Hill. She was the No. 3 Republican in the House of Representatives, as the House Republican Conference chair.

After getting ousted, Cheney declared, “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”

She also torched former President Donald Trump in a speech on Tuesday night, where she said, “We face a threat America has never seen before. A former president who provoked a violent attack on this Capitol in an effort to steal the election has resumed his aggressive effort to convince Americans that the election was stolen from him.”

Ahead of Wednesday’s vote, Trump took another swipe at Cheney, writing in a statement, “The Republicans in the House of Representatives have a great opportunity today to rid themselves of a poor leader, a major Democrat talking point, a warmonger, and a person with absolutely no personality or heart.”

He added, “As a representative of the Great State of Wyoming, Liz Cheney is bad for our Country and bad for herself. Almost everyone in the Republican Party, including 90% of Wyoming, looks forward to her ouster — and that includes me!”

Following the vote, Trump wrote in another statement, “Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being,” adding, “I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC!”

There has been support among some Republicans to replace Cheney with Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.).
