ABC News is receiving the first look at videos and photos of two migrant facilities in Texas released by the Biden administration.

The videos of a processing facility in El Paso, Texas, and a holding facility in Donna, Texas, were taken last week and provided to ABC News on Tuesday by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

The images show children sleeping on the floor under foil blankets and lining up to receive food along with waiting to have their temperatures checked.

ABC News noted only 250 migrants are supposed to be held at the facility in Donna but there are nearly 4,000.

Another video shows toddlers playing in a playpen while being watched by a caretaker. Girls can also be seen exercising at a facility in El Paso.

The videos come just one day after Axios published photos provided by Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) of the facility in Donna.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki touched on the topic of the photos during her press briefing on Monday, “These photos show what we’ve long been saying which is that these border patrol facilities are not places made for children. They are not places that we want children to be staying for an extended period of time.”

She continued, “Our alternative is to send children back on this treacherous journey. That is not, in our view, the right choice to make.”

Psaki also refused to call the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border a crisis.

“Children presenting at our border who are fleeing violence, who are fleeing prosecution, who are fleeing terrible situations, is not a crisis,” she explained. “We feel that it is our responsibility to humanely approach this circumstance and make sure they are treated with… treated and put in conditions that are safe.”

The Biden administration will be sending U.S. officials to ask authorities in Mexico and Guatemala to help the United States with migrant traffic.
