Jason Miller, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, is calling Joe Biden “the legitimate president.”

During an appearance on Mediaite’s “The Interview” podcast, host Aidan McLaughlin said when he spoke to attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), most of them still believe the election was stolen and suggested Biden is not the legitimate president.

He asked Miller, “Does that concern you?”

Miller replied, “Joe Biden is the legitimate president… There’s no debate and no question there.”

McLaughlin questioned Miller about whether he believes the former president will run in 2024.

“I hope so. Obviously, I’m a little bit biased. I’ve worked for President Trump on both his 2016 and 2020 campaigns but even in private, he hasn’t made any sort of formal decision, and to be honest with you I’m not expecting there to be any sort of imminent announcement,” Miller said.

He denied reports that Trump is considering a run without former Vice President Mike Pence.

“Never once has there been a conversation internally or in a group about doing something different for the VP position for 2024 if he decides to go that route,” Miller explained.

He is adamant Trump and Pence are on good terms, “While I realize that some Trump supporters might be a little bit frustrated with the former vice president, he’s a great guy, he’s been a loyal ally… and I think President Trump still has pretty high regard and fondness for Vice President Pence.”

Miller also touched on the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, the same day Biden’s electoral victory was being certified.

“January 6 was terrible. We can never ever allow something like that to happen again,” Miller said.

He continued, “Anyone who thought… for some reason they think they are a Trump supporter and participated in any aspect of violence… they’ve completely missed his entire mission and there’s no place for that ever.”

During his speech at CPAC, Trump did not rule out a 2024 run, as IJR reported.

“I may even decide to beat them for a third time, okay?” the former president said.
