The Arizona Republican Party is receiving criticism after asking users on Twitter if they are willing to give their life to further President Donald Trump‘s efforts to overturn the election results.

On Monday night, the party re-tweeted Ali Akbar, who wrote, “I am willing to give my life for this fight.”

The party added, “He is. Are you?”

Meghan McCain, the daughter of the late-Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) slammed the party for its tweet, she wrote, “‘Die for Trump’ is the official ‘AZ GOP’ twitter message? Really guys? Really?”

President-elect Joe Biden won Arizona by roughly 11,000 votes, becoming the first Democrat to carry the state in a presidential election in over 20 years.

While Biden has locked in the required number of electoral votes required to win the presidency, Trump has refused to concede, and his campaign has filed lawsuits in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan in bids to overturn the results of the election.
