News outlets are calling the presidential race for former Vice President Joe Biden (D) after he appeared likely to win enough states to propel him to the White House.

On Saturday, several news outlets predicted that Biden would win Nevada and Pennsylvania — giving him 279 electoral votes and officially winning the White House.

While support poured in for the president-elect, President Donald Trump is refusing to accept that the election is over, as IJR reported.

On Sunday, he took to Twitter to asked, “Since when does the Lamestream Media call who our next president will be?”

“We have all learned a lot in the last two weeks!” he added.

While it is true that news outlets do not make the actual call on who won the election, Biden is leading the vote count several key battleground states and has multiple paths to the White House even if he lost even two of the states he is leading in.

In a statement on Saturday, Trump said, “We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don’t want the truth to be exposed. The simple fact is this election is far from over.”

He added:

“Beginning Monday, our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld, and the rightful winner is seated. The American People are entitled to an honest election: that means counting all legal ballots, and not counting any illegal ballots. This is the only way to ensure the public has full confidence in our election.”

While it does not appear that Trump is ready to concede the race, several prominent Republican has encouraged him to concede the race.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) said, “I think [Trump]ought to at least acknowledge that he will even if it may take a few more days for cooler heads to prevail and to convince him that it’s the right thing to do for the nation. We do have, still, I think three states outstanding, and hopefully, that’s going to happen any day now.”

“At some point, I think very soon the narrative may change. More and more people in my party are accepting the results, and a number of people also did congratulate the president-elect, and hopefully, the president’s team will do the right thing in the end,” he added.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said he believes Trump will fight to the “very end,” however, he is confident that Trump will eventually “accept the inevitable” and concede.

While the Trump campaign has filed a series of legal challenges related to the election’s outcome, many experts believe they will not make a difference.
