Teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg is using an old tweet issued by President Donald Trump against him after he called on states to stop vote counts.

In December of 2019, Trump reacted to Time’s decision to name Thunberg “Person of the Year.”

“So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” Trump said.

Trump received backlash for his criticism of Thunberg.

“What kind of president bullies a teenager? [Donald Trump], you could learn a few things from Greta on what it means to be a leader,” Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden wrote.

Thunberg took to Twitter herself on Thursday to use Trump’s own words to poke fun at his declaration, “STOP THE COUNT!”

“So ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill!” Thunberg wrote.

Trump’s campaign adviser Jason Miller attempted to clarify the president’s remarks, as IJR previously reported.

“We should not be counting ballots that clearly came in after the election as being completely legitimate until we’ve had time to go through,” Miller said.

He added Trump’s call to stop the vote count is “pointing out” states “should not be counting ballots that were mailed in or magically appeared in a stack of ballots after Election Day.”

According to Trump’s campaign, the president is taking legal action in several states to challenge vote counts.

His campaign said Trump is planning to file a lawsuit in Nevada over alleged voter fraud, as IJR previously reported.

He has also raised legal concerns in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia.

As of Thursday afternoon, Biden has 253 electoral votes compared to Trump’s 214.

States yet to be called include Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
