President Donald Trump is picking up another nomination for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Sky News Australia reported that four Australian law professors have nominated the president for the prize as they cited his “Trump Doctrine” for foreign policy.

Specifically, they cited the deals brokered by the U.S. for the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to normalize relations with Israel.

Professor David Flint told Sky News, “He went ahead and negotiated against all advice, but he did it with common sense. He negotiated directly with the Arab states concerned and Israel and brought them together.”

“He has, firstly, common sense, and he is only guided by national interest … and therefore an interest in the western alliance,” he added.

Flint also mentioned Trump’s efforts aimed at “reducing America’s tendency to get involved in any and every war.”

He also predicted that Trump’s efforts could lead to peace in the Middle East.

For his foreign policy stances, Flint said, “He is really producing peace in the world in a way in which none of his predecessors did, and he fully deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.”

Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, earlier this month for his brokering the peace deals with Israel, as IJR reported.

Trump is not the only presidential nominee to be nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize this year, as IJR reported. Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was nominated for the prize by a British member of Parliament.

Chris Bryant, who nominated Biden, said, “When others have resorted to violent solutions, he has argued that the best force is the force of argument.”

“Because guns can stop a heart, but well-placed words can change many hearts, and many hearts can change a world,” he added.

The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on October 9.
