President Donald Trump is challenging Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden to take a drug test ahead of the first debate after he performed well in previous debates.

“I will be strongly demanding a Drug Test of Sleepy Joe Biden prior to, or after, the Debate on Tuesday night,” Trump said.

He added, “Naturally, I will agree to take one also. His Debate performances have been record setting UNEVEN, to put it mildly. Only drugs could have caused this discrepancy???”

A reporter with WFLA in Tampa, Florida, asked Biden how he would respond to Trump’s accusations, as IJR previously reported.

“I’m looking forward to the debate and he’s a fool. The comments are just foolish,” Biden said.

He added, “Get ready, Mr. President, here I come.”

During a phone call to “Fox & Friends,” Trump was asked about his accusations, as IJR previously reported.

He expressed his concern over Biden’s sudden improvement during his debate with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

“He’s taking something, you know that gives him some clarity,” Trump said.

In recent days, the president criticized Biden for failing to make a public appearance over the last week.

“Sleepy Joe Biden just closed down his campaign for the day (Again),” Trump said.

He continued, “Wants to rest! He is a very LOW ENERGY INDIVIDUAL, and our Country cannot make it in these exciting, but complex and competitive times, with a Low Energy President !!!”

Trump accused Biden of hiding from reporters.

He insisted Biden “doesn’t come out of his basement” and “hasn’t taken one question.”

Trump told supporters, “This guy doesn’t have a clue. He doesn’t know where the hell he is.”

He also said Biden “doesn’t know he’s alive.”

The first presidential debate will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9 p.m. at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
