Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden specifically condemned all acts of violence committed by Antifa amid ongoing civil unrest.

Biden sat down for a brief one-on-one interview with WGAL’s Barbara Barr on Monday where he was asked about where he stands on the escalating violence, rioting, and looting in multiple states across the country.

Biden insisted that he has condemned violence “across the board” as he criticized President Donald Trump for not doing the same.

“I condemned it across the board. The president still hasn’t condemned the far right folks coming out and protesting and using violence,” Biden said.

Barr went on to specifically ask Biden about the violence committed by members of the anti-fascist group Antifa.

“Do you condemn Antifa?” Barr asked.

Without hesitation, Biden admitted that he condemns not only Antifa but all violence regardless of who is responsible.

“Yes I do… violence, no matter who it is,” Biden replied.

At another point during the interview, Biden criticized Trump’s economical leadership, his treatment of blue-color workers, and his failure to impose seemingly appropriate tax requirements on big corporations.

“They’ve seen what four years has given them – an unemployment rate that’s triple what it was,” Biden said. “We’re in a situation where he has walked away, waved the white flag in dealing with COVID. [He’s] only concerned about whether the stock market is looking good.”

He later added, “You have corporations making over a billion dollars a year paying zero in taxes. I don’t want to punish them, but they should pay a minimum 15%.”

Biden’s latest remarks follow a string of bashing remarks Trump has made about protesters and Democratic leaders amid civil unrest. Over the last three months, Trump has placed blame on state and local officials of Democratic-run states.

Republican lawmakers have urged the president to change his rhetoric and for Trump to call for unity. Although Trump has openly criticized Biden for not condemning Antifa, he, himself, has not condemned “right-wing violence at the same demonstrations,” as The Washington Post reports.
