Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, if elected, would be the oldest person in history to serve as president.

However, that does not mean he would rule out a second term.

During an interview with ABC News’ David Muir asked Biden, 77, if his claim that he would be a transitional president would limit him to serving only one term if he is elected in November, he said, “No, it doesn’t.”

When asked if he would consider a second term, Biden said, “Absolutely.”

Muir also asked Biden how he would respond to President Donald Trump’s attacks on his fitness to be president, “Watch me, Mr. President. Watch me.”

“Look at us both, what we say, what we do, what we control, what we know, what kinda shape we’re in. Come on, look, I think it’s a legitimate question to ask anybody over 70 years old whether or not they’re fit and whether they’re ready,” he added.

Trump has repeatedly attacked Biden and suggested he is not fit to be president. But recently, Biden fired back and said, “You know, I used to think it was because of his personality, but I just don’t think he can intellectually handle it.”

“I don’t think he’s competent enough to know what to do,” he added.
