President Donald Trump took aim at the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) yet again as he criticized the former senator’s presidential run against former President Barack Obama.

On Thursday morning, the president retweeted a clip of former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

With the shared video clip, Trump tweeted in agreement with Palin as he insisted “deadheads” were responsible for sabotaging McCain’s campaign. He also took a shot at the late senator as he described him as “a lousy candidate with lots of bad policy.”

“Sarah is correct. McCain was a lousy candidate with lots of bad policy, but the “deadheads” sabotaged his campaign from the inside, and never gave him a chance to win. Hope they were happy with OBiden, who gave you me!”

During the interview, Carlson noted that McCain’s former campaign consultants, Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace, are now endorsing Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Palin reacted with criticism of Schmidt and Wallace as she described them as “wolves in sheep’s clothing.” The former Alaska governor went on and accused them of “sabotaging” McCain’s campaign.

“They jumped ship early in terms of their actual enthusiasm for the Republicans being elected that year in ’08 and that’s evident by what they’re doing today,” Palin said.

Trump’s latest remarks are the most recent in a ongoing feud with the McCain and his family.

She also took to Twitter with praise of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden as she recalled her husband’s decades-long friendship with him.

“My husband and Vice President Biden enjoyed a 30+ year friendship,” Cindy McCain tweeted. “So I was honored to accept the invitation from the Biden campaign to participate in a video celebrating their relationship.”

Like Cindy McCain, a host of Republicans have also been featured during the Democratic National Convention to express support of Biden’s presidential campaign.
