Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban is blasting President Donald Trump and Congress amid the coronavirus outbreak.

On Monday evening, the Dallas Mavericks owner took to Twitter with a scathing opinion of the federal government’s handling of the coronavirus.

In response to Ben Shapiro’s tweet about David Brooks’ — a columnist for The New York Times — suggestion that the federal government implement a “National Service Program” to aid students facing unemployment and the possibility of having to sit out of school in the fall.

Cuban voiced his frustrations about the government’s lack of leadership.

“We are all confused,” Cuban tweeted. “You know what will make us less confused? Good old fashioned leadership. Right now we have none. There is not a single person in our federal government that we can trust with our lives. That is what this is all about isn’t it? Who can we trust with our lives?”

Cuban also blasted the president for placing an emphasis on blaming instead of prioritizing helping the American people.

“Who is taking responsibility? Who is giving us honesty, transparency, candor, facts, hope ? Even if its not what we want to hear,” Cuban tweeted. “I trust our scientists and those around the world are doing everything possible to come up with a vaccine and therapies, that gives me hope.”

By focusing on placing blame, Cuban insists government officials “ain’t doing s***” to improve the problems Americans are facing.

“But our Senators, members of Congress and President ain’t doing s***, that I can tell, other than looking for someone to blame,” Cuban tweeted. “The reality is that we don’t know what the right answers are, but it sure would be nice to be able to have a civil discussion about the options.”

Cuban’s tweets come just days after his previous interview on CNBC. At the time, he expressed concerns about the economic impacts small businesses will likely face in the coming months, as IJR reported.

Although the government has approved two stimulus packages for small business loans, Cuban insists it will take more than that to stabilize the small business sector.
