President Donald Trump has tested negative for the coronavirus again.

In a memo to White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham on Thursday, White House Physician Sean Conley said that Trump had been tested again for the coronavirus.

However, this time, Trump used the newly released point-of-care test.

“This morning, the President was tested again for COVID-19, utilizing a new, rapid point-of-care test capability. He is healthy and without symptoms,” Conley wrote in the memo.

He continued, “Sample collection took just one minute, and results were reported back in 15 minutes.”

Finally, Conley said, “The President tested negative for COVID-19.”

Trump tested negative for coronavirus on March 14 after meeting with a Brazilian delegation where one member tested positive for the virus. 

Trump initially resisted calls to get tested for the virus as he was not showing symptoms of the virus, and Conley did not recommend getting tested. 

News of Trump’s second test comes as the latest data shows that the U.S. has 238,820 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
