Under pressure to drop out of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) says he is going to keep campaigning.

While some Democratic operatives say it is time for Sanders to drop out, not everyone in the party agrees. During her weekly press conference, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) addressed the state of the race.

“In case you were going to ask, no, I don’t think Bernie Sanders should get out of the race,” Pelosi said.

“I’m a grassroots person … I know the enthusiasm of supporters for candidates. And they want to see it play out, the ideas the causes, that the candidate advances. And for the opportunity for people to show their support,” she added.

Additionally, Pelosi said she’s “very pleased” that the field has narrowed, and Democratic voters are getting closer to choosing the nominee for president.

Pelosi’s comments come after Sanders suffered another blow on Tuesday after he lost the delegate-rich state of Michigan, and Washington was too close to call, both states that he won in the 2016 primary.

Democratic strategist James Carville said it was time to “shut this puppy down” and time for Sanders to drop out so the party can rally around former Vice President Joe Biden.

While Carville has expressed grave concerns about the future of the party if Sanders won the nomination, Pelosi has previously said House Democrats would ”wholeheartedly” support whoever wins the party’s nomination.
