President Donald Trump is still very upset that Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) voted for an article of impeachment against him during the Senate trial.

During an event on Monday with an assortment of governors, Utah Governor Gary Herbert was preparing to ask a question when Trump quipped, “How’s Mitt Romney? You keep him. We don’t want him.”

Here’s a clip of the exchange:

Trump’s remarks on Monday are unsurprising — he spent much of last week bashing Romney and even trying to tie him to Burisma, the Ukrainian energy company where former Vice President Joe Biden‘s son was on the board of directors.

The president amplified a string of tweets from accounts pushing the theory that Romney was protecting his own interests when he voted to impeach Trump. One tweet that the president retweeted claimed, “Romney is covering up his part in corruption in Ukraine. This has nothing to do with truth or God. He is a desperate man. The truth will come out.”

On the night that Romney voted to convict Trump in the Senate, the president angrily tweeted, “Had failed presidential candidate [Mitt Romney] devoted the same energy and anger to defeating a faltering Barack Obama as he sanctimoniously does to me, he could have won the election. Read the Transcripts.”

During the impeachment trial in the Senate, House Impeachment Manager Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) told the gathered senators in a speech, “CBS News reported last night that a Trump confidante said that GOP senators were warned: vote against your president … and your head will be on a pike.”

Republicans were upset by Schiff’s remarks about the president’s retribution, Sen. James Lanford (R-Okla.) said, “It’s insulting and demeaning to everyone to say that we live in fear and that the president has threatened all of us.”
