All but two Republican presidential candidates vowed to support former President Donald Trump even if he is convicted during the primary debate.

On Wednesday night, Fox News Bret Baier noted, “You all signed a pledge to support the eventual nominee.”

“If former President Trump is convicted in a court of law, would you still support him as your party’s choice? Please raise your hand if you would,” he asked.

Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy was the first candidate on stage to raise his hand.

Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.), North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former Vice President Mike Pence also raised their hands.

Candidates were required to sign a pledge to support the eventual nominee to qualify for the debate.

However, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wagged his finger to make it clear he would not support Trump if he was convicted.

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson also declined to promise to support Trump if he is convicted.

The former president is facing 91 criminal charges. He has denied any wrongdoing in all of the cases against him.
